STC's snow removal equipment is what's used at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP) airport. If you are looking for an update on your flight when weather advisories are issued, please refer to the AIRLINE rather than the AIRPORT. It is up to the airline's operational folks to be in communication with the airport to make good just-in-time decisions. Allegiant Airlines often uses technology (ie: text, email) to inform passengers of flight delays or cancellations. The plane cannot land if visibility reduces to 1/2 mile or less. STC has often handled diversions from MSP based on where the weather system is located. We encourage folks to go to Allegiant's website, enter their flight number, and frequently track their flight's status. We apologize in advance for any hiccups in your travel plans. Stay safe!
