Archery Deer Hunt
There were 79 entries in the Fall 2022 airport archery deer hunt lottery. Seven parties were selected and have been notified.
How the program works:
Permits for archery hunting of whitetail deer are issued by STC based on a lottery system. Seven permits are issued for the season. If your name is drawn (https://www.random.org), a permit fee of $5.00 must be paid before an archery permit will be issued. Hunting is allowed in designated areas outside the fence on STC property (view respective map showing designated area). Firearm hunting is prohibited! See the City of St. Cloud's Deer Management Policy.
A mandatory meeting will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the airline terminal conference room to issue permits and go over rules. Application deadline is Friday, September 2nd, at 3:00 pm.
All permit holders are required to complete a Harvest Report, whether successful or not. Failure to return the Harvest Information Sheet to STC will result in denied eligibility for any future airport archery hunt.
The 2022 Archery Hunt season is September 17th, 2022 to December 31st, 2022. For more information, visit the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) website, call STC Airport Administration at 320-255-7292, or email the St. Cloud Airport.
