Archery Deer Hunt
2023:
Seven winners have been notified by email. Alternates will be notified if necessary.
There were 95 lottery entries in the Fall 2023 airport archery deer hunt. Winners have been notified by email.
How the program works:
Hunting Permits
Permits for archery hunting of whitetail deer are issued by STC based on a lottery system. Seven permits are issued for the season. If your name is drawn (https://www.random.org), a permit fee of $5.00 must be paid before an archery permit will be issued. Hunting is allowed in designated areas outside the fence on STC property (view respective map showing designated area). Firearm hunting is prohibited! See the City of St. Cloud's Deer Management Policy.
A mandatory hunters meeting was Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the airline terminal conference room to issue permits and go over rules. Application deadline was Friday, September 1st, at 3:00 pm.
Harvest Reports
All permit holders are required to complete a Harvest Report, whether successful or not. Failure to return the Harvest Information Sheet to STC will result in denied eligibility for any future airport archery hunt.
The 2023 Archery Hunt season is September 16th, 2023 to December 31st, 2023. For more information, visit the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) website, call STC Airport Administration at 320-255-7292, or contact St. Cloud Airport.
